IMO, Muppets Christmas Carol was awful, as was Muppets Haunted Mansion. They simply weren't funny, the songs were weak, the writing was terrible,......the only redeeming things were how well it tied in the Disney World ride elements.

I like to think I stay open-minded when it comes to Disney re-doing some of their attractions. But for me, the first major strike was when they decided to go with a Princess and Frog theme. It certainly isn't one of their most beloved films, and for me, it isn't even one I mildly enjoyed. So...

If "Epcot Forever" is meant to merely be a filler for the true replacement, then I understand why it's a rather disappointing show. Still, you'd think Disney would have put a little more imagination into it. All that EF is, is a paint-by-numbers fireworks show with some callback voiceover...

Yes, I saw the original version prior to the Ellen garbage. The original version, sure it was boring, but actually stayed true to the ideal of Epcot. The garbage refurbishment that brought in Ellen couldn't have been further from that idea of teaching and education.

I've never done the Enchanted Tiki Room, and since none of these existed the last time I was there: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Little Mermaid, Test Track 2.0, Soarin' Around the World (I HAVE been on the original Soarin many times).

I agree. It is a shame, though, that the only real way to get to Animal Kingdom is by bus (or drive yourself). Linking it to the Disney Skyline would be more expensive, but ultimately worth it.

Given the funny layout, I wonder how any possible future expansion could happen. I would have figured it to operate in some kind of circular pattern or wheel-n-spoke.

In theory, this is going to be really good for Disney and it is a good idea, but we can pretty much expect this to be THE place now in WDW and its cost-per-night will be astronomical.

UoE was way too dated, tired, and boring an attraction that really never worked very well.
