News Walt Disney Imagineering Files Signage Permit for "it's a small world" at Magic Kingdom

I googled it and some Facebook groups said it was taken down sometime in 2024, so that tracks.

DHS Disney Animation-Inspired Experience Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios

I actually like the gators. But the thing is, any way you slice it, kids generally do not have refined tastes. There really is a zero sum conflict between what will appeal to 80% of kids and a more sleek look for adults. Unless you want to be the sad beige mom spray painting her toddler’s...

News Walt Disney Imagineering Files Signage Permit for "it's a small world" at Magic Kingdom

Sounds like they brought it back briefly sometime between late 2022 and very early 2025 then. As of fall 2025 it appeared to be completely gone.

News Walt Disney Imagineering Files Signage Permit for "it's a small world" at Magic Kingdom

It was definitely working at some point after that because I saw them with my son, who didn’t start visiting until 2022. I’m about 80% certain it was working in 2024 and maybe even into 2025.

News Walt Disney Imagineering Files Signage Permit for "it's a small world" at Magic Kingdom

I’m pretty sure we saw it as recently as January 2025. If not it was spring 2024.

News Walt Disney Imagineering Files Signage Permit for "it's a small world" at Magic Kingdom

I noticed it seemed improved when I was there this fall, although unless I managed to miss it the area where they say goodbye to people by name was gone or not working. I guess they snuck in some quick refurbishment work when they added new dolls. All the hula dancers were hulaing again! As...

News Josh D’Amaro Named Next CEO of The Walt Disney Company

Honestly it seemed fine to me. I didn't walk out thinking "This is going to be replaying in my head and my emotions for days", but neither were there any serious issues with it. 5-10 years prior, a Disney movie would have had to have been genuinely bad to flop like that, and it wasn't bad...

News Josh D’Amaro Named Next CEO of The Walt Disney Company

Yeah, I generally agree that art is one area that can't be purposefully commoditized in the same way as other things (food, lounges, rides, merch, etc.) simply because there's no easy formula for how to create a blockbuster movie, chart topping song, bestselling novel, historically renowned...

Rumor D23 2026 WDW Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

I think the next decade could bring new builds but not new gates in the traditional sense. A cruise line cay with a waterpark and a few attractions seems like the most likely candidate to me. I could also see them doing a non-parks recreation area to increase revenue although I’m not feeling...

News Walt Disney World Launches After 2 PM Summer Ticket for 2026

We will definitely hydrate! With this travel group (seniors, young child) our park days will be very light, but if this trip goes well we may do longer days in the future. The summer deals are really good this year and as Florida isn't getting cooler, I anticipate that continuing a bit.

Rumor D23 2026 WDW Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

My predictions: - Updates, as other people have already described a great deal. - One “wow factor” announcement about Villains. - One surprise announcement about a new project. - Dreamfinder will be back in some way. Hopefully a ride redo but I wouldn’t rule out just a fancy meet and greet.

News Walt Disney World Launches After 2 PM Summer Ticket for 2026

I’m planning on trying neck fans this year. We will definitely do a morning / evening split as well.

Rumor D23 2026 WDW Rumors, Predictions & Discussion

I really hope not. This is my son’s first Disney exclusive hyperfixation, he’s already super sad the one in California is gone. I like to think ToT has classic status almost akin to Haunted Mansion.

News Walt Disney World Launches After 2 PM Summer Ticket for 2026

Oh drat. With all the deals we’re doing our first summer trip this year and I’m trying to convince myself it will be fine once we hit evening, lol.

MK Cars-Themed Attractions at Magic Kingdom

I don’t think this logic (basically “Hey, urban sprawl is a necessary thing”) applies in a theme park. In a community where you have to buy groceries and put in infrastructure and you live in a country where the economy is dependent on people commuting long distances… ok, pros and cons are...
