I really like the look of the new trains - the cars appear more wooden looking which adds to the rustic theme of the ride. Not really upset about a color change, the trains look very similar to what Disneyland’s look like after their refurb:

That’s what I’m saying. I’m sick and tired of whenever an attraction undergoes a major refurbishment for much needed TLC and upgrades and all people care about is “cLoSeD fOr a YeAr?! WhEn’S iT rEoPeNiNg?!” Goes to show too many people don’t give a crap about enhancements to the ride experience...

Do we think the anti-rollbacks will sound like they used to or will they sound more like those of Paris’ version (since this is a Vekoma retrack)? In all the testing footage so far I couldn’t discern the sound of the lift.

Can’t be certain, but I had heard from someone who previously worked at the attraction that the ride’s controls (“tower”) would be reconfigured as part of this refurbishment.

By the way, that boiler jacket is such a bright red that it’s hurting my eyes. At least the way the sun’s shining on it.
