New Inspiration: Through Walt's Eyes Tour

Does anyone have any information on the new "Inspiration: Through Walt's Eyes" tour? We spoke with WDW this morning and they said it is new (although there was an older one of the same/similar name) and just started booking for it in the last several days. All I know at this point is that it...

    Special Christmas Displays

We love to visit the displays at the deluxe hotels! And we also buy a snack from the full-size gingerbread house at GF. Ask CMs about hidden Mickeys. We particularly had a lot of fun looking for the Mickeys on the carousel at BC.

Candlelight dinner package - which narrator and restaurant did you choose?

In the past we've seen Gary Sinise (twice) and LeVar Burton. Both were great. We haven't been during Christmas for a couple of years, but decided to go again this December: Cuba Gooding Jr. and, as always, Le Cellier. Can't wait!

    MGM vs Epcot

I love Epcot, but I think a young child will enjoy MGM more. I think he would get bored with Epcot. There are a lot of attractions that appeal to young kids at MGM, like Playhouse Disney, Voyage of Little Mermaid, etc. And I think he would love Osbourne lights.

Help on planning my first trip!!!

I think this is a pretty good time to go, in terms of crowds. Sure, you may run into some school groups. And I think school systems along the entire Eastern seaboard take all of President's week off, but I think you will just miss those dates. The days will probably be mild during the day...

    Christmas Help!!

Both times we went to CP we booked dinner at Le Cellier, which is our favorite Epcot restaurant. We also considered Rose and Crown and Chefs de France. We thought we should choose a country which actually celebrates Christmas, thinking the decorations would be better. Definitely take time to...

    AFI Villains Exhibit

Yes, it has. I can remember when they used to feature just a lot of props and costumes from Disney movies, like Tim Allen's Santa Claus outfit, the book of spells from Hocus Pocus, etc. One time we went there were a bunch of leading lady costumes, including one of Vivien Leigh's gowns from Gone...

Need Resort Advice..POR? CR? or WL?

A courtyard view will overlook the landscaped walkways and area leading down to the pool. The first time we went to WL (or WDW, for that matter) we were offered a free upgrade to a courtyard view. It was very pretty and a nice surprise, but it took us a few days to figure out what this weird...

Need Resort Advice..POR? CR? or WL?

WL rooms have 2 queen beds, unlike the value and moderate resorts. There are also rooms with a single queen and bunk beds.

Need Resort Advice..POR? CR? or WL?

Our boys have always loved the Wildlerness Lodge, with its grand lodge lobby, totem poles and Native American displays. It has become a tradition on our visits to WDW to take their picture at the totem pole in front of the trading post, which features a few Disney favorites. We have a series of...

    Resort Help?

We prefer the Epcot resorts over every other area, and over the years have stayed at all of them. I have boys, so they much prefer the nautical decor over the Beach CLub (they think the color scheme is too girly). But they share many of the same amenities, so either is great. The swimming area...

    Pal Mickey?

Pal Mickey also offers park tips, like the parade starts in 30 minutes you still have time to find a good seat or the line at Pirates of the Caribbean is really short right now. He shakes a little when he has something to say and you press his hand. The games are a fun way to make time pass...

    Boma

We've eaten there for breakfast and dinner. We enjoy the food. You can avoid the more exotic fare if you want. Boma is arranged in stations, with all the salads at one place, grilled meats in another, etc. There are some exotic flavors to sample, like mango or paw paw salad dressings, watermelon...

    Epcot? Kids 6&8?

Definitely Living Seas. You don't want to miss Turtle Talk with Crush. Also do the Imagination ride which features Figment, but NOT Honey, I Shrunk the Audience. If they like fast rides and meet the height requirement, Test Track is also a possibility. If they want to see some dinosaurs, try...
