They are doing a military pass to compete against Universal. They offer something very similar called the military freedom pass, and it is around $240. It doesn't offer any AP benefits like discounts or parking but is very cheap.

TWDC is also more likely to cater to economic demographics that are less likely to cancel trips due to economic pressures. TWDC will still feel an impact, just not as much as SeaWorld or chain hotels on 192. Disney bubble impact.

Isn't the dining plan originally cheap for kids? It's the adults who have a higher cost.
