Yeah I don't know the bus rotation. For me, it seems busses run every 20-30-ish minutes. I would guess that is 2 busses per resort one in bound 1 out bound plus loading and wait time at DS and the resort. Assuming that is the case, cutting one bus out would double the time.

I have to believe if they cut the bus service to more than what it already is, it would discourage people to go to the Springs. I know it would me.

It was a somber day when I walked into the M&M's store at DS and realized I could no longer afford M&Ms.

I have spent quite a few vacations after Christmas and can honestly say I don't remember busses being over crowded from DS. From the parks, yes, but not DS. I'm thinking someone is making up a problem to eventually $charge$ for a solution.

Running this through my head. What if you paid to park at MK, left the park early afternoon, walked over to GF or CR to check it out, then hopped on a bus to DS for dinner. Are you stuck at that point? Would a $35 parking receipt not get you a ride back? You did Disney a solid by paying $$ and...

When staying offsite, I will almost certainly be adding the Carpet of Aladdin option to my ticket in case I want to visit a few resorts while I'm there.

We stay off site occasionally. On non park days we have parked at Springs or a Park(free AP parking) to just resort hop for the day. I can understand limiting it on the busiest of busy weeks but it would be foolish to if they ever decided to make it permanent. We spend money resort hopping.
